    1. And for reference, the ebook comes out in Dec, but the paperback releases in Jan. 5.

    2. I've noticed that with some of the January releases. Strange, right? Why not release both at the same time? Grrr. I'm looking forward to this one as well. Good luck, Terrill.

    3. They started not releasing the ebook at the end of a month and the paperbacks at the beginning of the next month, because ebook preorder people were getting annoyed that Amazon was sending preordered paperbacks a week to two weeks early and ebook readers had to wait until the exact day. So Bethany is trying to work around Amazon who releases paperbacks early in an attempt to get each type of reader the book around the same time.

    4. Um, Should have been "They've started releasing ..."

    5. Ahhhh....now that makes sense and leaves me undisgruntled. I thought they were playing favors between ebooks and paperbacks. LOL Thanks for inside scoop, Melissa.

    3. With This Ring is definitely a January release -- but I have noticed some strange things when I check Amazon for publishing dates. Like multiple entries for the same title. You might have seen a different edition that's coming out later. But there's a paperback and ebook due out next month. Feel free to change your entry if you want.

Does this count? I entered three titles on today's post, but didn't know about this post until now. If it doesn't count,(since I already listed three for today), then delete it.

  38. Can the books be anytime in 2016 or is it only Jan, Feb, and March?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Just the first three months -- we'll have another session of these Reader's Choice giveaways later in the year. I didn't want the winner to have to wait too long for their book or and didn't want to risk me forgetting all about providing the winning giveaway book if it was too many months away. I have a system in place so I keep track...but still...more than three months in advance would be tempting fate, I think. LOL

    2. True. I wondered how you kept track of all this. Thanks Kav!

  41. Then here's another version Her Dearly Unintended (With This Ring? Collection): An Ozark Mountain Romance Novella gives the date May 3, 2016.

    1. I believe these two are from the With This Ring novella and will be released separately in the spring...I know, confusing, right? I don't understand why they do that but I've seen it before and been thoroughly confuses. So these two don't count because they don't release until May.

  42. I am wondering about the A May Bride or A July Bride type books? There's quite a few of them and they're listed in the novella category. Are they eligible?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If they are released in Jan, Feb or Mar. You'll only get one novella as opposed to a collection and they are likely only in ebook format, but yes, definitely eligible.

What this publisher does is publish an ebook novella every month for a year and then the following year, they package the novellas in four different books by season. The first one coming out in 2016 is

      Toss the Bouquet: Three Spring Love Stories (A Year of Weddings Novella) by Ruth Logan Herne, Amy Matayo, Janice Thompson {Release Date March 2016}

If you choose this one you would get three novellas by best selling authors in one paperback book.

Hope I haven't confused you more! The novellas can be tricky for sure.
